Mixtape - Laura Brownlie

Mixtape - Audience

The main target audience would defiantly be a family audience, the content is suitable for all ages and appeals to more than one age group. it is a lighthearted fun film

Mixtape has a retro feel to it because of  creating a Mixtape to give to someone and the songs that have been used. Cassette tape are not used any more and have a very dated look to them. The two songs used where Crazy On You by Heart released in 1976 and Wonder Where My Baby is Tonight by The Kinks released in 1965. Because of this could appeal to an elder audience that grow up in the 1960/70's, reminding them of the time when they were growing up.
It also could appeal to a younger audience around the age of the main characters (early teens) as they might be able to relate to what the characters are feeling.

  1. Good and well researched into the music.
    A lovely little film!

Always include the date and director when analysing any film.
